Deal With Your Nothingness

It's late at night, and I find myself wide awake, unable to sleep despite feeling exhausted from a long and busy week. The past few days have been warm and tiring, leaving me devoid of any creative inspiration. So, I'm writing about nothingness.

At times, we find ourselves missing someone or something that used to be a significant part of our lives, but due to a thousand and one reasons, we've grown apart, and our paths have branched. At this moment, I'm missing someone dearly, and I know that I cannot turn back time to relive those moments. I recognize that this is a common feeling that many of us experience. That's why I want to share some tips that might help you cope with nothingness.

We often forget that happiness is a choice, and even in times of nothingness, we have the power to choose joy and positivity. It's essential to acknowledge our feelings and let ourselves grieve, but it's equally crucial to remember that nothingness is only a temporary phase that will eventually pass.

Music Always Heals

Music has always been an integral part of my life, and I find solace in it irrespective of the genre. I deeply appreciate the intricate melodies of Indian classical music, the soulful ballads of Ed Sheeran, and the folksy tunes of John Denver or Kabir Suman. I'm fascinated by the beauty and emotion that each genre brings. Lately, I have been hooked on a particular song called "Ma Lo Ma" by Coke Studio Bangla. This song has been on repeat for the past two days, and I can't seem to get enough of it! The lively beat and uplifting energy of the track make it a delight to listen to. Even if you need help understanding the language, I'm sure you will appreciate the music. You can listen to it on Spotify or YouTube and see for yourself!

Watch new OTT Release

If you're feeling really down, you can start watching something to shift your concentration. Many people would suggest you watch something light, like a typical family drama or comedy. But I recommend the complete opposite. Watch something meaningful and thought-provoking to take your mind off things. Recently, I finished watching 'Baby Reindeer', and I can't describe how good it was. Life is all about choices, and sometimes it's important to set boundaries and prioritize self-care. I won't ruin your watching experience, so just open your Netflix and start watching it now.

Start Reading

Reading can be a therapeutic escape from the stresses of everyday life, allowing you to immerse yourself in imagination, knowledge, and personal growth. Whether your preference is mystery, romance, or non-fiction, there's something for everyone. For me, reading is not just a hobby but a way to reset amidst stress. On a lazy summer day, there's no better indulgence than getting lost in a good book. So why not take a break, grab a book from your shelf, and experience the rejuvenating power of literary therapy? If you're looking for something different and worthwhile to read, I highly recommend "Ami O Banabihari" by Sandipan Chattopadhyay; believe me, you'll be amazed. So happy reading!

Eat Something Delicious

When I'm feeling sad, I tend to turn to food for comfort. Over time, this has led to a larger belly, but there's something about eating that helps me feel better during emotional times. Even if it's only temporary, it lifts my spirits. So, if you're feeling down, consider ordering some comfort food like Chicken Chowmein and Chilli Fish or maybe an Ice Cream bucket to celebrate your life.

Take a Deep Sleep

If you find it challenging to engage in various activities to reduce stress, you can always opt for a simpler approach. Just turn on your air conditioning and get a good sleep, just like a panda. It's a well-known fact that a good deep sleep can significantly decrease your stress levels. So, by getting a sufficient amount of rest, you can wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to take on the challenges of the day.

Please keep in mind that the remedies mentioned earlier are just basic and in case of serious mental health issues, do not hesitate to visit a doctor and seek proper medical treatment. Remember, the darkest hour of the night comes just before the dawn. Everything will be alright. Have a happy weekend! See you soon.
